Hungry Baby

My classmate, Kai-lin Chuang, and I teamed up as Team Des-Lin for the 24-hour animation jam called FJORG last weekend. Drexel participated in the jam with about 3 other universities’ digital media programs across the nation. The theme: “What goes ‘bump’ in the night?” Kai-Lin and I decided on a baby scooting his way down the stairs because he wants to get food.

I was in charge of the storyboards, character design, key frames, and line quality control. Kai-Lin modeled the environment in Autodesk Maya to use as reference for perspective. He also was responsible for most of the in-betweens, the sound effects, and compilation of the footage.

Below are the storyboards, character sketch, and a couple of rough iterations.
